Hemplobby history
Hemp Lobby was formed in 1997 by long-time hemp consultant
and businessman, Ed Saukkooja in the community of Pe
Ell. In 1998 Ed moved the base of operations to Olympia
to have better access to the Capitol campus. At that
time he was joined by long-time hemp activist, writer
and entrepreneur, Dave
Olson to conduct a campaign of grassroots education
aimed at joining government, agriculture and business
in the common goal of promoting the economy while protecting

Hemplobby Publications In an effort to educate policy-makers, researchers
and agriculturalists, Hemplobby created an booklet called
"Practical
Guide to Cannabis."
Within are excerpts from many research studies, legislative
bills, growing guides and various discourse on hemp
